Mohammed Shami’s Personal Life
Mohammed Shami Ahmed, also called Md Shami , was born on 3rd September 1990 in Sahaspur village in Amroha, Uttar Pradesh, India. His father, Tousif Ali, loved to play cricket and was also a fast bowler in his young age, but as a profession, he was a farmer. Besides this in Mohammed Shami’s family , he has a sister and three brothers, all three of whom wanted to be a fast bowler just like him. His father recognized Shami's ability in 2005, and after that, he took him to Badruddin Siddique, a cricket coach in Moradabad whose residence was 22 km from their village.
He got married in 2014 with Hasin Jahan. On 9th March 2018, a First Information Report (FIR) was lodged against Shami and his family by his wife on domestic violence and adultery. His wife claimed that he had attempted to murder, rape and adultery. His wife also put up allegations of match-fixing against the bowler. On 22nd March, the BCCI cleared Shami's central contract after its Anti-Corruption Unit cleared him of corruption charges. But after that, he was issued an arrest warrant from the Alipore Court on 2nd September 2019. The arrest warrant was stayed by the district court on 10th September 2019, as the court failed to issue a summons to appear in the court after filing the charge sheet. So, he will appear only if the court will issue a summon.

Mohammed Shami IPL Career
Mohd Shami entered the Indian Premier League in 2015. His IPL debut was for Kolkata Knight Riders. In this year, he got only a handful of opportunities to show his talent. In 2014, due to his outstanding International debut, Delhi Daredevils bought him for Rs 4.35 Crores. Mohammed Shami's wickets were increasing rapidly in IPL. Shami’s IPL economy rate was above 9, and he was associated with Delhi Daredevils for 5-years. After that, in the 2019 auction, he was taken by Kings XI Punjab for Rs. 4.40 Crores.

Mohammed Shami’s Domestic Career
Mohd Shami made his first-class debut in 2010 against Assam, securing three wickets. As a result of his good performance in the domestic season, Shami was then selected for the West Indies bound India A team in 2012. In June 2012, he built a match-winning partnership of 73 runs scored for the tenth wicket with Cheteshwar Pujara in India A's unofficial Test match against West Indies A. At the time of Ranji Trophy 2012–2013, in a match against Hyderabad on the green at Eden Gardens, Shami secured four wickets over 36 runs, and six wickets over 71 runs and then himself scored 15 runs from 6 balls in the 2nd innings to help his side win the match by four wickets, along with Wriddhiman Saha. He also secured seven wickets over 79 runs and four wickets over 72 runs against Madhya Pradesh in the city Indore at Holkar Cricket Stadium. But despite that, his side lost the match by 138 runs. It embraced a hat-trick in the 1st innings to wipe out the tail.
Mohammed Shami’s International Career
In an Asia cup match against Afghanistan on 5th March 2014, Mohammed Shami became the 2nd fastest Indian to take 50 ODI wickets. And he finished the tournament securing nine wickets at 23.59. After a loss in the Test series by 3–1 against England, India finally won the ODI series by 3–1 in which Mohammed Shami secured eight wickets at 24.16. In the fifth ODI, he bowled a good mojo in death overs with rigid line and length and Middle stump Yorkers. After that match, many cricket pundits started calling Shami the future of Indian bowling. In November 2014, he was in the 15 man team for 5 ODIs against Sri Lanka, but he then was replaced by Dhawal Kulkarni because of a toe injury he suffered during the West Indies Series. Later he was named in the World ODI XI by the ICC for his performances in 2014. Mohammed Shami was in the 15 man team named for the 2015 World Cup and was ultimately involved in the playing XI. He secured four wickets for 35 runs from his nine overs in India's first match against Pakistan which helped India win the match. And in the 2nd against South Africa, he completed with two wickets over 30 runs from 8 overs. Then against West Indies, Shami was awarded the Man of the Match after concluding with figures 8–2–35–3. After the conclusion of the tournament in June, Shami exposed that he bowled throughout a recurring pain in his left knee. And he later went for a surgery. Cricbuzz also named him in 'Team of the Tournament'. He was recognized in the World ODI XI by the ICC for his performances in 2015.
He was named in India's team for the 2019 Cricket World Cup in April 2019.
And on 30th June 2019 in the match against England team, Mohammed Shami took his first 5-wicket haul in ODIs. With his abilities, he becomes the fastest bowler to claim the fastest ODI 100 wickets, during the first one-dayer against New Zealand at Napier on Wednesday in 2019.
