K. L. Rahul's IPL Information

Rahul made his IPL debut with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) as a wicket-keeper batsman in 2013 competition. In 2014, he was taken by the Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR 1 Crore. But in the 2016 IPL season, he returned to RCB as finished the season by scoring highest runs, and RCB got third with 397 runs from 14 matches. For this outstanding performance in the 2016 IPL season, he was named as wicket-keeper in the Cricinfo and Cricbuzz IPL XI. But in 2017 he had a shoulder injury he missed the 2017 IPL season. K. L. K.L. Rahul’s Domestic Career

Lokesh Rahul enthusiastically made his first-class cricket debut in the 2010–11 season for Karnataka. And in the same season, he did represent his country at the 2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup, securing a total of 143 runs in the competition. Rahul even made his debut in the Indian Premier League(IPL) in 2013 for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

At the time of 2013-14 domestic season, he secured 1,033 first-class runs and the second-highest scorer of that season.

While playing for the South Zone in the finals of the 2014–2015 Duleep Trophy against Central Zone, K.L. Rahul scored 185 runs off 233 balls in the first innings, and 130 runs off 152 in the second innings. He was called as the player of the match and selection to the Indian Test team followed for the Australian tour. When returning to home after the Test series, Rahul became Karnataka's first triple-centurion, scoring 337 runs against Uttar Pradesh (UP). He went on to secure 188 runs in the 2014–2015 Ranji Trophy finals against Tamil Nadu and completed the season with an average of 93.11 in the nine matches he played. K.L. Rahul made his first Indian Premier League (IPL) debut possible for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). He was a wicket-keeper batsman during the 2013 game. Forward of the 2014 IPL, he was bought by the Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR one crore, before returning to RCB ahead of the 2016 IPL season.

K.L. Rahul’s International Career

Rahul K. L. made his Test debut in the year 2014 Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. He then replaced Rohit Sharma and was also well presented with his Test cap by MS Dhoni. Rahul batted at number 6 and made three runs in the first innings, but in the second innings of the match, he played at number 3 and made only one run but kept his place for the next test match, which was at Sydney where he was the opener of the innings with Murali Vijay and secured 110 runs, his maiden international hundred. Rahul was one of the players of the 15-man squad for the Indian tournament at Bangladesh in June 2015, but he had to withdraw due to Dengue fever. He came back to the side for the first Test of the Sri Lankan tour after Murali Vijay was settled out due to injury, securing his second Test century and being titled as the player of the match. While going off the game, he kept wicket after Wriddhiman Saha was injured. Rahul was then named in the team to tour Zimbabwe in 2016 and made his first One Day International (ODI) debut against Zimbabwe at Harare Sports Club, securing a century on his debut, he was the first Indian cricketer to do so on the debut. Then KL made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut later in the same tour. Later in Dec 2019, in the very first T20I match against the West Indies , he scored his 1,000th run in T20I cricket.
